These Terms govern your use of the LociArc mobile and web app ("LociArc", "the Service"). By signing in you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
LociArc lets you save URLs, generates AI summaries / tags, and pushes a Daily Brief / Time Capsule via email or Telegram. The Service is provided as-is during the v1 launch — we may change features, limits and copy without prior notice.
2. Your account
- You must be 13 or older (16 in the EEA).
- You are responsible for the security of your login credentials.
- You may not share an account between multiple humans.
- One person may operate one account; bulk / scripted account creation is forbidden.
3. Acceptable use
You agree NOT to use LociArc to:
- Save, summarise or distribute content that is illegal in your jurisdiction.
- Submit URLs whose only purpose is to make our backend fetch internal/private/loopback addresses (we block these via SSRF guard, but attempting it is grounds for account termination).
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or stress-test the API beyond the documented per-user quotas.
- Use the Service to harass or impersonate any person.
4. Quotas and abuse limits
The free tier allows up to 100 AI-summarised saves per calendar month per account; quotas reset on UTC month boundary. Items exceeding the AI quota are still saved as raw URL + scraped body without AI processing.
We reserve the right to throttle or temporarily suspend accounts that exceed published rate limits or appear to be automated.
5. AI summaries
AI summaries and tags are generated automatically and may be wrong, incomplete, or biased. You are responsible for verifying any material you rely on, especially for legal, medical or financial matters. Do not paste secrets (passwords, API keys, private keys) into URLs you save — the body of the page is forwarded to our AI provider for summarisation (see Privacy Policy).
6. Your content
You retain ownership of the URLs and notes you save. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to fetch, summarise, embed (vector), and store that content solely to operate your personal vault and deliver your briefs. We do not claim any other right.
7. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app (Profile → DANGER_ZONE → DELETE ACCOUNT). We can suspend or terminate your account for repeated abuse, fraudulent activity, or legal compulsion, with or without notice depending on severity.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI summaries will be accurate.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to USD 50 OR the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow this limitation; in those, the limitation applies only to the extent permitted.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes are resolved in the courts of Hà Nội, except where consumer-protection laws of your country grant you the right to a local forum.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via email and an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
